An Arizona palm court is a far cry from Venice, Italy- but Venice it became.

Entertainment flowed seamlessly with décor and cuisine to create an elegant Venetian atmosphere, its own full moon transforming into a spectacular surprise finale’.

The event’s centerpiece, a grand buffet, was adorned with living statues of Greek goddesses beneath a full moon suspended in mid-air. Guests enjoyed gondola rides and a string ensemble dressed in 18th century fashion. When a mysterious creature disappeared into the buffet statuary; the full moon rose, gently lifting an aerialist towards the night sky in a brilliant climax to the evening.

The July 4th Trinity Fest was the first celebration of its kind in Dallas. Technical challenges in producing an event of this kind in an area with no water, no shade and no electricity in a region known for rough weather and scorching mid-summer temperatures were many.

Regional entertainment for the whole family was featured on stages throughout the event, The Main stage headline acts were Randy Travis, The Commodores and La Mafia. The second largest fireworks display in the US was created by the world famous Grucci family.

Trinity Fest is now touted as one of the most successful special events in Dallas history.
