Shonna Bonds

Shonna Bonds brings a life time of experience in the entertainment industry to the BRAVO! Team. Shonna has been performing since age 5, initially her focus was on country music and eventually gained inspiration from superstar performers like Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, and Celine Dion. Growing up, Shonna was very strongly supported by her parents to explore her talent, which wasn’t limited to singing.

Always on the go, a young Shonna spent her time traveling the country opry circuit from Indiana all the way to Texas. Through her hard work and dedication, Shonna rapidly made her mark throughout the Midwest. After graduating from College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Milliken University, Shonna decided to take the next step in advancing her career, and she moved to Dallas, TX.

For the past 15 years, Shonna has co-owned and performed with one of Texas’ most recognized cover bands, Time Machine. Covering country, pop, rock, and funk hits of several decades, Shonna began tapping into an entirely new realm of vocal and business skills. Shonna toured nationally and internationally, performing for major corporations including Microsoft, Coca Cola, The Dallas Cowboys, and even performed for Mr. and Mrs. President George W. Bush. Shonna also opened for countless acts including The Beach Boys, Rick Springfield, Third Eye Blind, Kool and the Gang, performed at the wedding of Toby Keith’s daughter, and the 50th birthday bash for Toby Keith’s wife. Shonna has been an enormous influence on the Texas special event entertainment industry.

In 2013, Shonna joined the cast of the Pierce Arrow Theater in Branson, MO. During her first year in Branson, Shonna recorded two hit CD’s, and quickly earned a reputation for being a “cross between Whitney Houston and Carrie Underwood.”. Back in Dallas in 2017 Shonna joined the BRAVO! Team and with her new project The Haywire Band, she and her two sons, Levi and Riley, now happily call North Texas home.
