You might not expect a blue-jean clad, boot-wearing cowboy who has shared the stage with top country acts to have a passion for classic crooners like Nat King Cole, Perry Como and Tony Bennett. Then it’s time to introduce you to singing sensation, Britt Hammond. The handsome 6’4” native Texas talent is a genuine “Country Crooner.”

Born in El Paso, Texas, one of four children, Britt was named for his father’s uncle, Britton Davis, a 19th century Calvary officer who chased Geronimo. Britt spent much of his adult life-playing clubs strewn throughout Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas. Britt has experienced much of what life and Texas has to offer which even includes bull riding. Britt hangs his hat in Pilot Point,

During a 1985 trip to Nashville, Britt had his first taste of the big time recording and realized he needed more formal training. He returned to Kansas and started vocal training through the University of Missouri, Kansas City Music Program, where his talent and opportunities flourished. When he returned to Nashville years later, he performed and collaborated with some of the best writers in the Music City, which produced his latest disk, self-titled, Britt Hammond. His disc which showcases his multi-talented and passionate love for all music, includes; “When You Dance With Me,” “Something Neon Goin’ On,” “I Will Be There,” and “I Showed Me.”

Always true to his Texas roots, Britt “loves to sing country because it comes from the heart.” Words of wisdom from a man who says, “I have worked with some of the best artists in the business and had personal experiences, both on stage and in life. Leading me on a spiritual journey to where I am today. Forgiv’n and lovin’ the life I’m livin’ today.” I have so much to sing about, and country music says it best. Take a moment to listen to Britt and we believe you’ll agree.
