Not just a repertoire band, Blue Sky 5 performs original songs written by Craig Gildner and arranged by the musicians that capture the era’s style and sizzle. It’s sole mission: to keep live swing music thriving for generations to come..and have a ball doing it!
Though well known as the Lindy hopper’s delight, the band can play chamber jazz and soft standards acoustically while your guests mingle and converse. If there is dancing involved, they have several slow to medium tempo tunes for fox trot and other social dances.
