Parkour, also known as free running is a performance art that developed from a training discipline using movement that developed from military obstacle course training. Performers move from one point to another in a complex environment, without assistive equipment and in the fastest and most efficient way possible. Parkour includes running, climbing, swinging, vaulting, jumping, rolling, quadrupedal movement (crawling) and other movements as deemed most suitable for the situation.

It’s about Strength, beyond the physical, to the strength of mind to do what needs to be done, the strength to continue. It’s about Intensity, giving everything you have every time, always pushing harder, always moving forward. It’s about Focus, being aware of the situation, of your surroundings, of your position there, but still able to devote your concentration completely to the one true objective. And it’s about Commitment, to each and every individual move!
