Halle Johnson is an emerging singer-songwriter and guitarist residing in the city of Long Beach, California. Catering to the genres of Neo-Soul, R&B, Pop, and Rock, Halle steals the hearts and attention of all listeners with her iconic voice, grabbing lyrics, and captivating melodies.
At the age of 8, her introduction to the world of music was the cello. She played the cello for a few years and then gravitated towards singing at the age of 11, where she received training within the styles of operatic and classical voice. By the age of 17, Halle picked up her first guitar, and at the age of 18 began to write her own music. The rest is history in the making.
Halle has been featured at various music festivals, competitions, showcases, and benefit concerts that include venues such as the Los Angeles Recording Academy, Hotel Café, The Apache, Musicians Institute of Los Angeles, Stompin’ Grounds, and the Grammy Museum. One of Halle’s greatest achievements thus far was in March of 2014 where she was selected by producer extraordinaire, Don Was, as a top 10 finalist for the national Guitar Center Singer-Songwriter Contest.
Currently, Halle is independently touring the east coast performing in cities such as New Orleans, Louisiana, Atlanta, Georgia, and Austin, Texas while she continues to make her mark in music.
