John Wesley Austin has been working the comedy club circuit for over 18 years, & it shows in his side splitting, and sometimes-outrageous stand-up comedy.  His observational humor captivates audiences, throughout the country!
He shoots off one-liners about real-life topics and his analytical, down-home approach, exhilarates fans by relating to them with a unique, hilarious perspective on life.
He picks up the guitar & treats the crowd to parodies of familiar country songs, and some of his hysterical originals too
John Wesley headlinies popular venues like The Comedy Catch in Chattanooga, TN, The Stardome in Birmingham, AL, Deja Vu in Columbia, MO Loonees in Colorado Springs, CO, Stanford’s and Sons Comedy Club in Kansas City, KS, Joey’s in Livonia, MI, One Liners in Indianapolis, IN, The Loonie Bins in Little Rock, AR, & Wichita, KS and The Riviera Comedy Club in Las Vegas, NV, just to name a few.  His schedule also included a number of performances at private corporate events, & county fairs.
At the age of 16, he began performing at a nearby comedy club in his hometown.
In ’95, John Wesley was chosen to participate in THE VAIL NATIONAL COMEDY COMPETITION, winning 1st place in the semi-finals.
Austin has also appeared on THE NASHVILLE NETWORK’s WILD HORSE SALOON DANCE SHOW.
Now, years later, he has earned a reputation as being one of the top stand-up comics in the country.
