Keith Mitchell Band is THE most awarded band in the D/FW area, winning the prestigious Terry Awards “Entertainer of the Year” award three years in a row. No other previous winners(Lone Star, Ty Herndon, Ricky Lynn Gregg, Trace Adkins) had ever won this award back to back, let alone three times. Keith was also named Male Vocalist of the Year for the Terry Awards.
They were specifically chosen to headline one of the entertainment planning industry’s largest events (2011 NACE) in the country, playing on the 50 yard line of Cowboys Stadium. In 2008 they were the opening performers for the biggest Rodeo in the United States, Cheyenne Frontier Days “Daddy of ’em All”. That event alone, they opened for Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert, Rascal Flatts, Jason Aldean, Kelly Pickler, and many other great acts.
