Metalachi seamlessly blends favorite rock anthems from AC/DC, Motley Crue, Iron Maiden and Metallica into traditional mariachi forms. Every number is a fist-pumping sing-along, but with top-notch musicianship and over-the-top stage heavy metal production production value.
The group’s show has been critically acclaimed by NPR, The Los Angeles Weekly, The KTLA Morning Show (Los Angeles TV), Good Day Sacramento (CBS Sacramento TV), We Are Fresno LIVE! (KSEE NBC 24 Fresno TV), NBC4 News (Los Angeles TV), The Carson Daily Show AMP FM (Los Angeles Radio), Total Access Telemundo 52 (Los Angeles Radio), The OC Register and has performed private events for artist Shepard Fairy and rocker Billy Idol.
Metalachi is fully self sufficient stage show. They bring the entire PA system (complete with dedicated sound engineer)as well as a state of the art light show (with lighting engineer) complete with sequenced lighting, fog machines, strobes and more. They are happy to utilize your venue’s backline/sound/lights as well.
Metalachi can customize most aspects of the show to fit your event. The show is typically an R-rated adult show, but if children are present, they can tone it down for the PG crowd. They can customize the set to fit your event needs, one long show or a series of smaller sets. With enough lead time they can work up requests of your favorite songs (Metalachi versions of popular rock/metal/top 40 songs) if it is not a current song in our catalog.
