Ballet North Texas provides high caliber classical ballet and contemporary dance to young aspiring dancers in the North Texas area. The troupe uniquely gives the dancers the opportunity to perform alongside top professionals in the field of dance and participate in auditions, rehearsals, and theatrical performances.

Fund raising efforts through performing at events like YOURS will be directly allocated toward future productions and creating performance opportunities for our young artists.
Ballet North Texas opened its first official season with the successful performance of the Nutcracker on November 19th, 2007.
Following this success, Ballet North Texas now holds an open audition for dancers every August and performs the Nutcracker every November at the Will Rogers Auditorium.
On March 9th, 2008 Ballet North Texas hosted the first Youth Dance Festival at the Ed Landreth auditorium in Fort Worth with the participation of Abilene Ballet Theatre, Ballet Ensemble of Texas and Bloom. The performance is an opportunity for the young talented dancers of North Texas to meet with different groups, take a master class and observe different styles of dancing. The Youth Dance Festival has since become an annual event.
The Spring Performance of Ballet North Texas features its own dancers together with professional dancers in works by Chung-Lin Tseng, the classical repertoire, and guest choreographers.
