If you’re one of the 84,000 people who saw The Twins Dueling Pianos Show last year, then you know that these are the twins that rock Harrah’s Las Vegas nightly. The Twins Dueling Pianos Show is the only all-female and identical twin dueling pianos show in the world. Kimberley and Tamara Pinegar take the stage and have the audience laughing and singing along in no time. Kimberley & Tamara have been playing piano since the age of six. After completing college, they began touring as singer/dancers with a national entertainment company. They performed at concerts, corporate events and parties all over the world including Super Bowl and Olympic events, parties abroad in Barcelona, Maui, Cancun, Munich, Bahamas, Japan and Grand Cayman, not to mention performing in most US states. They have performed at parties for Reebok, Time, Sports Illustrated, Playboy TV, NFL, NHL, Anheuser Busch, and the casts of television’s Ally McBeal, The Practice, The Wonder Years and Picket Fences.
In 1998, Kimberley began learning the dueling pianos show while living in the Middle East, performing at the Ritz Carlton Beach Club, and recording an original CD entitled Snapshots (available for purchase). She then studied the show in Amsterdam, Holland at Crazy Pianos and then in Orlando at Blazing Pianos and Howl at the Moon. When she returned, Tamara soon joined her in a dueling pianos bar in Rochester, NY, where they trained with Blazing Piano’s Bill Whitman. In less than a year, the act was picked up by Disney Cruise Line and clubs from Portland to New York.
For the past three years, the girls have performed to packed houses at Harrah’s Las Vegas Hotel and Casino. They were recently featured in the Las Vegas Review Journal’s Best of Las Vegas Awards Show.
Kimberley and Tamara began playing piano duets at the age of six, but they had to share the family piano. Now they each have their own grand piano, so watch out – It’s a duel you don’t want to miss!
