The Jabbawockeez are the masked dance crew who won America’s Best Dance Crew and turned hip hop into theatrical art. Sold out tours, Las Vegas residencies and global performances.
Dance Crew | International
The Jabbawockeez are a world renowned dance crew credited with revolutionizing modern performance art. They first caught public attention on America’s Got Talent in 2006 and rose to international fame as champions of Randy Jackson Presents: America’s Best Dance Crew on MTV in 2008, where artistry, mystery and precision arrived in one package.
The Masks Are the Point
Anonymity removes individuality so the audience watches unified motion, rhythm and storytelling instead of personalities.
Instantly recognizable in their white masks and gloves, the crew combines breathtaking synchronization with humor, emotion and creativity, turning a stage into a living canvas. Each dancer contributes a distinct style, and the blend between them is what has become synonymous with the Jabbawockeez name.
The name draws on Lewis Carroll’s poem Jabberwocky, which suits a group that keeps redefining what dance can be. Their influence runs well past television into sold out tours, Las Vegas residencies and global performances, and their choreography elevated hip hop into a sophisticated theatrical form.
