Matt Macis has been entertaining audiences worldwide for over a decade. He began his professional career at age 16 in the Off-Broadway hit The Awesome 80’s Prom – directed by the show’s creator (now Tony® Award winning producer) Ken Davenport. By 19 years old, The Washington Post hailed him “a genuine find”, and at 21 he headlined his first of many casino showrooms. After years of performing his then-signature “Tribute to Michael Jackson”, Matt created a ‘vintage Vegas’ persona and found himself a niche as a new ambassador of classic entertainment. After attending one of Matt’s performances, Dean Martin’s daughter remarked that her dad would think he was “damn good”. He has since worked with Hollywood legends like Jerry Lewis, classic rock stars like Dee Snider of Twisted Sister, and contemporary hitmakers like Train lead singer Pat Monahan, among others.

On the theatrical stage, Matt tread the boards of many regional, touring and destination theatres, including Branson’s renowned Sight & Sound Theatre. In 2017, Matt performed in the touring production of Rocktopia, and was also part of the Broadway company in the fan-favorite rock musical at the Broadway Theatre in 2018. His most recent project has been producing Macis Swings Darin!, a biographical concert that pays tribute to Bobby Darin – heralded by several of Darin’s personal friends and professional collaborators. As a producer, he is developing a Judy Garland retrospective starring his wife, QVC host Hannah Timm, which was recently awarded the City of Austin TX Live Music Fund Award Grant for 2023. Matt keeps a busy schedule performing concerts on cruises, tribute shows in theaters and for private events all across the country – making the classic music of The Great American Songbook accessible for every generation and all audiences. One of his favorite reviews from a previous client says it all: “This music was cool then, and Matt makes it cool now.”
