The Vinyl Stripes play authentic rockabilly, surf and vintage rock and roll with 1950s styling. A trio with optional saxophone, built for corporate events, festivals and retro themed parties.
Rockabilly Band | Dallas
The Vinyl Stripes are a Texas based band built around authentic rockabilly, surf and vintage rock and roll from the 1950s and 60s. Skinny ties and pork pie hats, Gretsch guitars and a stand up bass: the look and the instrumentation match the era, and the playing backs it up.
A Complete Period Look
The styling and the gear are part of the booking. The band arrives looking like the decade it plays.
The setlist pays homage to Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison and Jerry Lee Lewis, alongside surf guitar instrumentals in the spirit of The Ventures and Dick Dale. The band also performs original songs written in the style of the era, some of which have been featured in television shows and films.
The core trio delivers rich three part harmonies, and adding a tenor saxophone player brings extra punch when the room calls for a bigger sound. That makes the act easy to size to a reception, a stage or a themed activation.
Send Bravo Entertainment your date, venue and whether you want the trio or the saxophone lineup and we will confirm availability.
