Hip Hop Hooray is a live tribute to old-school rap: three MCs, a turntable, and a funky rhythm section running the biggest hits of the ’80s and ’90s for corporate crowds.
Adidas? Check. Gold chain? Check. Boombox? Word. When Hip Hop Hooray hits the stage, the party is on. The group celebrates the golden age of rap, delivering the hottest beats of the ’80s and ’90s with fresh energy, swagger, and style, and the throwback vibe lands from the very first track.
The show unleashes iconic hits: “Humpty Dance,” “You Can’t Touch This,” “Funky Cold Medina,” “Ice Ice Baby.” More celebration than concert, and impossible not to sing along to.
At the mic, Flava J brings charisma, rhymes, and a giant clock that proves he always knows what time it is. Beside him, X-man moves with smooth, effortless style, while Pretty Boy Lou, also known as Peanut Butta Love, adds Latin flavor and charm. Backing them is the powerhouse rhythm section: White Chedda on bass and Cold Chillin on drums, laying down funky beats and deep grooves that keep the party rocking start to finish.
The ultimate live tribute to old-school hip hop. Whether the room wants to relive the golden era of rap or meet it for the first time, Hip Hop Hooray brings the beats, the humor, and the hype.
