Spazmatics Dallas plays the 80s with tight musicianship and geek chic comedy. Expect new wave hits, crowd participation and a packed dance floor at corporate events and parties.
80s Tribute Band | Dallas
Spazmatics Dallas is an 80s tribute band with a comedic identity built in. The suspenders, bow ties and taped up glasses are part of the act, and the joke lands because the musicianship underneath it is genuinely sharp. Guests come for the nostalgia and stay for a band that plays the decade properly.
Geek Chic on Purpose
The look sets the tone before a note is played, and the room is in on it from the first song.
The set runs through the decade’s biggest hits with spot on renditions of Devo, A-Ha, Duran Duran and many more. It is built to move a mixed crowd, so guests of all ages find something they know, and the energy holds from the first song to the last.
What separates this band is the audience work. Crowd participation, impromptu dance offs and quick comedic moments run throughout the show, and the performance scales to the room whether it is an intimate private party or a large corporate event.
Want more nostalgia on the program? Compare The Mullet Boyz for eighties anthems with a comedy twist, or Hip Hop Hooray for a live tribute to old school rap.
