A Gatsby theme gives a corporate event something rare: a dress code guests actually enjoy. Bravo staffs the whole room for Dallas companies, from the jazz band to the flapper dancers, greeters and speakeasy performers who make it feel like 1925.
Shimmering gold and black Art Deco, grand chandeliers and a speakeasy entrance set the scene. Guests arrive in flapper dresses, tuxedos, pearls and feathered headbands, which is a large part of why this theme works for a company party. People dress up without being asked twice, and the photos are better for it.
A jazz band anchors the night. Around it, casino style gaming tables, a vintage photo booth, Prohibition era cocktails and a hidden entrance give guests something to do from the moment they walk in. A silent disco with a Gatsby twist, a cabaret set or 1920s acrobatics work well when you want something your people have not already seen at every other company event.
The theme scales in both directions. A jazz trio and two costumed greeters suit a 75 person client dinner. A full big band with aerialists and roaming performers suits a 600 person holiday party in a hotel ballroom. Tell us the headcount, the room and the budget and we will size it rather than sending you a price list that ignores all three.
The band is the theme | No Gatsby party is complete without toe tapping jazz and energetic swing. From brassy big bands to smooth jazz quartets, our artists bring the soul of the Roaring Twenties to life. Prefer a DJ with a modern twist? Many acts remix vintage classics with today’s beats so the second half of the night still fills the floor.
Dazzling performers | Flapper dancers and aerialists in period costume work the room between sets, which keeps the energy up during a band break instead of losing it.
Interactive entertainment | Gatsby era greeters, fortune tellers and cigar girls meet guests at the door and make the room feel like a secret speakeasy from the first minute.
Yes, and this is the part most people do not realize. For a large share of our roster the costume is the product. Aerialists, living statues, greeters, stilt walkers, dancers and costumed beverage service can all be styled to almost anything you can picture, so an aerial hoop becomes a Gatsby act by what the performer is wearing and how the piece is staged. It means your theme is not limited to the acts that already have Gatsby in the name. Tell us the look and we will tell you who can wear it.
For a Dallas corporate event, three to six months is comfortable and gives you first choice of bands. October through December is the exception. Holiday party season books out early, and by late summer the strongest bands are already committed for December Fridays and Saturdays. If your date is in that window, earlier is genuinely better. We have also filled events on a few weeks notice, so it is always worth asking.
There is no single number, because the range is wide by design. The drivers are how many performers are in the room, how long they are there, whether they are a headline act or a roaming one, and travel if you are outside the metroplex. A jazz trio for a client dinner and a full big band with aerialists for a 600 person ballroom are different budgets entirely. Send us the date, headcount and venue and we will come back with options at more than one price point rather than a single quote.
Only if you want that. Most planners want the jazz and swing to set the tone early, then something the whole room will dance to later. Our bands are used to building a set that opens in period and moves forward through the night, and several can remix modern songs in a vintage arrangement so the transition does not feel abrupt.
A jazz trio needs very little, roughly the footprint of a few cocktail tables. A full band with horns needs a proper stage area, and aerial acts need rigging height and a certified rigging point, which is the constraint most venues decide for you. Send us the venue name and we will tell you what fits there. We work in most Dallas hotel ballrooms and event spaces regularly and usually already know the room.
The whole room. The band, the roaming performers, the greeters at the door, the photo moment, and the production behind it. Booking it through one agency is the reason most of our corporate clients call us rather than piecing together four vendors who have never worked the same event.
Yes. Dallas and Fort Worth are home, and we regularly staff events across Texas and nationally. Travel affects cost, so tell us the city when you inquire and it will be reflected in the options we send.
Most of what we do is corporate, so the questions a planner actually has are the ones we are set up to answer.
Send us the date, the headcount and the venue and we will send acts that fit.
